Bowel and urinary bladder control involve spinal reflex arcs that are located...need help with this question?!?

The bowels/urinary bladder is controlled by the sacral nerves, which are below the lumbar nerves. If the spinal cord was severed at L1, that individual would lose control over their bowels/bladder, since the sacral nerves would be affected, too.
