How do you feel about the efforts to establish democracies in the middle east?

How do you feel about the efforts (especially the US) to establish democracies in the middle east? I personally think democracy is overrated but i know many people love, adore, and believe everyone should have it. Now before you jump on me for stating its "overrated", I feel this way because it works in some circumstances. What I mean by this is that among somewhat sane and rational people democracy can be very effective and great for society. However when exercised among crazy, fundamental, radical Muslims i think it's a bad idea and would be detrimental to the world. Now before some of you people comment and accuse me of being racist/ islamiphobic or whatever prejudice accusation; I'll also say that Christians are crazy, fundamental, and radical.......... Lol hahahaa back in medieval Europe. Lol Bill Maher once said about America ' Our culture isn't just different than ours, Its better. Lol that bring over that crazy desert **** when they come over here' Now some might say well riley.escobar if not democracy then what? I suggest someone sort of secular dictatorship to modernize the region. Lol lets convice China to take over and conquer the region. Any thoughts?
